Firefighters release pupil from plastic chair

A fire crew from Castle Cary were called to release a nine year old pupil from plastic chair this morning at a school in Ditcheat after her leg became stuck.A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "Efforts to release her had been unsuccessful and the girl was starting to become distressed, as her leg began to swell. An ambulance was also requested as a precaution."The crew worked alongside Ambulance paramedics to release the girl's leg from the plastic chair.... Reported by Western Gazette 12 hours ago.
