This is Plymouth --
A STUDENT was suspended from school after a girl complained to police that he had sexually assaulted her, a court heard.
Tom Frei, aged 20, was excluded temporarily for allegedly breaching school rules, a jury at Plymouth Crown Court was told.
But the court was told that the girl's parents did not want to pursue a prosecution at the time.
A senior teacher at Frei's old school told the court that he was suspended in May 2008. But no disciplinary action was taken after a second alleged incident with another girl six months later.
Frei is on trial for a series of alleged sexual offences against three girls in Tavistock. He was aged 15 or 16 at the time.
He denies one charge of rape, six allegations of sexual assault and one count of inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity.
The offences are said to have happened in the town between October 2007 and November 2008.
The trial against Frei, of Tadworth in Surrey, continues. Reported by This is 3 days ago.
