This is Somerset -- The Special Horses for Special Children equine therapy centre near Chard is asking local people to help name a new foal.The girl was born this week and is dark brown with a white star.
Special Horses is offering a prize of a visit down to Scrapton Farm, Wadeford, near Chard to visit the foal, to the person who picks a suitable name.
The centre uses horses and ponies in sensory work and horse play for children and young adults struggling with autism, Aspergers, neurological disorders and emotional or behavioural challenges.
The horses at the centre are specially trained to interact in a very unique way with young people. The centre offers individual, family and group therapy.
