This is Cornwall -- THE jury in the trial of a former Redruth farmer who denies sexually abusing a naïve schoolgirl in the 70s has retired to consider the verdict.John Rosewarne, 63, of Pencarn Parc, Four Lanes, Redruth, denied five counts of indecent assault and sexual intercourse with a girl under the age of 13.
However, at Truro Crown Court on Monday, he admitted one count of sexual intercourse with a girl under the age of 13.
The jury was told Rosewarne had allegedly abused the girl at his farm in Helston between 1975, when she was 10, and 1977, when she was 12.
