![Facebook clue in case of missing Westcott teen Sophie Nynan]()
This is Surrey -- MISSING Westcott teenager Sophie Nynan is believed to have communicated with a friend on Facebook since her disappearance. Detective Inspector Martin Stables of Surrey Police said a message had been posted from the 15-year-old's account on the social networking site in the last few days. Det Insp Stables said: "Prompted by the police, one of her friends made contact with her and there has been some interaction between the two friends. But to date she hasn't spoken to the police or to her family." It represents the first clue in the case since CCTV cameras apparently captured images of Sophie at Redhill railway station at 7.25pm on Saturday. A police spokesman said the girl in the footage was "believed to be" Sophie, who was seen heading towards Platform 3 where she could have boarded a train to East Croydon, Gatwick Airport or Horsham. The teenager has not been in contact with her family since "storming out" of the family home at around 6pm on Saturday and heading towards Dorking. Sophie is described as being of mixed race and around 5ft 2ins tall, with straight, dyed brown, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black leather jacket, black leggings and white Converse high top trainers. She also wears two pearl stud earrings in each ear, is known to frequent Redhill and has links to the Croydon area. Det Insp Stables added: "Unfortunately Sophie is not believed to have a phone with her which would be our normal line of enquiry." Anyone with information is asked to call Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference M/13/322.
