A PLYMOUTH man is set to appear at Crown court after being accused of two historic counts of rape of a girl aged under 16. Dean Angear, from Grimspound Close, Leigham faces two counts of rape which are alleged to have taken place between January 3, 1992 and January 2, 1995 at Notre Bridge in Cornwall. The girl cannot be named for legal reasons. Angear, aged 41, was granted unconditional bail and the case was adjourned to Plymouth Crown Court for a hearing on March 9.
