POLICE have issued on update after a 12-year-old girl was hit by a car in Scunthorpe. The girl was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary following the incident. Today (Saturday) Humberside Police confirmed the girl's injuries are not life threatening. Police also say she suffered head injuries in the incident, which happened on Chancel Road at 6pm yesterday (Friday).
