A 12-year-old girl has been hit by a car in Scunthorpe.The girl has been taken to hospital following the incident, which happened at 6.05pm tonight (Friday).Emergency services were called following the collision, on Chancel Road in Scunthorpe.The road was closed until approximately 9pm.Humberside Police say the girl's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.The girl has been taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment.
