A SCHOOL girl was hit by a car in Fairfield Road this afternoon. An air ambulance landed at the scene at approximately 4pm and assisted ambulance services in treating the girl.Kara Louise Flynn who was at the scene said: "Air ambulance landing in Dane Court school field after an road traffic accident in Fairfield Road which is closed. Young girl hit by a car.The helicopter is about to leave without the girl on board so it seems she is ok to go in the regular ambulance...
