POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was punched in the stomach.The 16-year-old was walking along the A444 Burton Road, Overseal, when another girl punched her in the back and chest.The girl is described as 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build with long blonde hair, wearing a green jacket with a white hood and black leggings. The offender ran off.The incident happened at 4pm on Tuesday December 16 but details have only just been released by police.
