Officers in North Devon are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision in Appledore.
The collision involving a car and a pedestrian occurred just after 9.30am on Wednesday 29th October on the A386 Churchill Way, in Appledore, opposite Appledore Football Club.
A Ford Fiesta motor car travelling towards Northam, driven by a local woman was in collision with a 13 year old local girl who was crossing the road.
The girl was taken to the North Devon District Hospital but later transferred to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol where her condition is described as stable.
Police are appealing for witness to the collision, who are asked to contact police on 101 quoting police reference number 0197 291014.
