A 13-YEAR-OLD girl was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Belper. Police said the girl was taken to Nottingham's Queens Medical Centre with head injuries. The incident happened in Chesterfield Road, near the Queens Head pub, at 4.30pm yesterday. A police spokesman said the girl's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing. Witnesses are asked to call police on 101.
