PARAMEDICS were called to treat a Plymouth schoolgirl who drank half a test-tube of pure ethanol. The youngster was treated for the effects of ethanol shortly after 1.25pm yesterday at Sir John Hunt community college in Lancaster Gardens, Whitleigh. The girl, believed to be a year 10 student, was not taken to hospital and returned home.
