
POLICE say investigations are continuing to trace the driver of a car which was involved in a collision with a girl on a busy Swansea street.
A 16-year-old was injured in the incident, which happened on Walter Road on Tuesday evening.
Officers say the youngster collided with a black Mini near the junction of Bullin's Lane, and they are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The girl was taken to Morriston Hospital following the incident, though her injuries are understood not to be serious.
A South Wales Police spokesman said: "Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 4.40pm on Tuesday, February 19.
"A black Mini vehicle collided with a 16 year old female, who was taken to Morriston Hospital, where she was treated for her injuries.
"South Wales Police are appealing for the driver of the black Mini vehicle involved, any witnesses or any person with any information to contact.
"Inquiries are on-going to trace the owner of the vehicle involved."
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
