A 62-YEAR-OLD man has been jailed for five years for sexually assaulting a child in the 1980s.Daniel Eames admitted four offences of indecent assault against the girl when she was aged between nine and 14.In a letter written to the court, the victim spoke about "a loss of childhood" and said the abuse had made her sink into depression as a teenager and it affected her subsequent relationships.She said: "I cannot say he has ruined my life as I have a good life now, albeit a life full of regret....
