POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a fail-to-stop incident in Castle Cary. It happened at about 4.15pm on June 19 at the junction of the Ansford Road traffic lights when a car mounted the pavement and was in collision with bike, ridden by a 12-year-old girl. The girl required hospital treatment but was not seriously injured. The car – described as being mustard-coloured – and driven by a white man, left the scene without stopping. Police are keen to hear from anyone...
