A DRUNKEN sex pest made a nuisance of himself and asked a 15-year-old girl how much she would charge for sexual services.
He seemed to believe she was a prostitute and asked her the "price" of sexual favours, a court heard.
Aleksandr Chramcenko, 48, of Eleanor Street, Grimsby, admitted assaulting the girl on August 10.
Jeremy Evans, prosecuting, told Grimsby Crown Court that the girl spotted Chramcenko on the opposite side of the road and he seemed to be pointing to his vehicle.
She thought he had a mechanical problem with the vehicle and crossed the road, thinking he wanted her help to make a telephone call.
He asked her: "How much?" and she thought he meant the cost of using her phone. He told her: "I want to know how much to give you."
She became concerned and started to walk away but he grabbed her arm and stopped her.
He stood in front of her, used an obscene gesture and wanted to know the "price" she would charge for the sex act.
The girl, now 16, walked off but Chramcenko told her: "Don't leave. Come back."
Chramcenko was later arrested near his home. He had been drinking.
Richard Hackfath, mitigating, said Chramcenko was very ashamed of himself and was very sorry for what he had done.
Chramcenko, who is Lithuanian, had drunk so much he could not remember the incident. He worked full-time as a driver.
Judge David Tremberg told Chramcenko: "You took her arm and offered to pay her for sexual services. She was not interested in you.
"She was not a prostitute. She was deeply alarmed by what you did. She remained upset for a significant period of time."
Chramcenko was given a 14-day suspended prison sentence and must pay £85 costs. Reported by This is 15 hours ago.
