Take Me Out teacher Ryan Oates nervous before TV date on Paddy McGuinness ITV1 show tonight This is Scunthorpe -- Scunthorpe teacher Ryan Oates will again be seen by millions of TV viewers tonight (Saturday January 25) on the Take Me Out show hosted by Paddy McGuinness on ITV1 During the programme starting at 8.15pm we will see how Ryan's date went with Chloe - the girl he selected. Ryan, 31, says he is pleased how last Saturday's show came across, but is nervous about his date being screened. "I felt worried watching it on TV, but had a good laugh with the lads while it was on," he said. "I think it showed me exactly as I am though – confident and outgoing without taking myself too seriously. "I felt nervous about the reaction to the show in school. We have 700 students here and 100 staff, and it crossed my mind a lot. "It seems to have been OK though. There has been some friendly banter from staff and a lot of students are asking me about it. "People say I came across well though. I am more nervous about watching the date than I was about the first show. It's more off the cuff and unplanned, because you are on a date and there is no preparation. "It could be interesting to watch. I will be seeing it in Leeds with some of the guys I met on the show, and I hope it all comes across well. Students are asking me about how the date went. "One of the positives for me is that it hopefully showed Scunthorpe in a positive light. There are too many people talking about Scunthorpe for the wrong reasons, and I want to help change that." *Follow us on Facebook and Twitter* Reported by This is 13 hours ago.
