Paignton student 'bullied' teenage girl and posted her naked pictures on Facebook This is South Devon -- A PAIGNTON student has been branded as despicable after he humiliated a 15-year-old girl by bullying her into sending him naked pictures of herself and then posting them on Facebook. Harry Lloyd pestered the victim with online messages until she agreed to send him a picture of her breasts and private parts and then posted and tagged them when she upset him by ending their online chats. The girl felt humiliated and betrayed when she arrived at school to find all her friends and classmates had been looking at the intimate images, Exeter Crown Court was told. Lloyd, aged 21, of Dunstone Park Road, Paignton, admitted two offences of making and two of distributing the images of the girl and was jailed for four months, suspended for two years by Judge Erik Salomonsen. He was also ordered to pay £340 costs, receive two years supervision, to sign onto the sex offender's register, and was banned from future internet contact with people under 16 by a Sexual Offences Prevention Order. The judge told him:"Let me make it clear. This was a despicable offence, and that is not a word which is used often in this court. "You came by these photographs of the girl's breasts and genitals and you decided to disclose these to the community at large on the internet by putting them on Facebook. "You did this to make her ashamed and embarrassed and that has had a significant effect on her. This sentence is intended to express my abhorrence. "It is hard to imagine conduct designed to cause more shame and embarrassment in a victim among young people." Mr David Bowen, prosecuting, said Lloyd made contact with the victim through mutual Facebook friends and had met her only once face to face. They carried on chatting online and by phone and text and he started pressuring her to send him the images, refusing to accept her refusals as an answer. He said:"He told her he would cause trouble with her boyfriend if she said no and said he would leave her alone if she sent the pictures. "She sent one and he asked for another. She didn't really want to but he told her he would show the first one to everyone unless she did so. "She did not want anyone to know about this so she agreed. Lloyd then circulated them on the internet in a way that attributed them to the victim by tagging them on Facebook. "The victim described everyone at school knowing about the pictures and it causing trouble at school. Her family got to know and her aunt rang her mother and the matter came to light. "We say there was a background of intimidation and coercion by threats and the images were shown to others, including children and were available in ways which were accessible inadvertently." Miss Mary McCarthy, defending, said Lloyd suffers from a chromosome abnormality which makes him immature for his age. She said he rejects the idea he pressurised the victim into sending him the photographs and said he put them on Facebook because he was upset with her. She said he is a student and urged the judge not to pass an immediate jail sentence which would destroy his prospects. Reported by This is 7 hours ago.
