![Red Arrows letter appeal: mystery child found]()
This is Lincolnshire -- Bromley schoolgirl Tahnee Johnson is set for a birthday to remember after she was identified as the mystery letter writer to the Red Arrows. But Christmas has come early for the nine-year-old who forgot to include her address when she wrote to the Red Arrows in September. The world famous aerobatic team issued an appeal to find her through their own Facebook page as well as Lincolnshire Echo's own internet site. With some painstaking investigative work Lincolnshire Echo reporters then managed to track down the girl. Tahnee, a fanatical follower of the Red Arrows, has now been invited to RAF Scampton to see the trainer Hawk's close-up close to her tenth birthday next March. Overjoyed mum Paula told the Echo: "I have got a daughter who is jumping up and down at the moment. "Her dad, Grandad and uncles are all into planes so she has been mad about them ever since she was little.
"She is mad on the Red Arrows. Her bedroom is covered with pictures of them and she has a Red Arrows uniform. "She wrote the letter last September before we went to the air show at Duxford because we thought they might be there. What has happened is just amazing. She is the happiest girl in the world and it is like all our christmases have come at once." In her letter, Tahnee explained she wanted to become a Red Arrows pilot and hoped to join the air Cadets when she was 13.
