This is Plymouth -- Students from Torpoint Community College organised a cake sale to raise funds to buy items to put in hamper boxes to be delivered to Torcare in time for Christmas. Aiesha, Olivia, Kelsey, Jasmin, Cerys and Grace raised nearly £30 with a cake sale and went shopping at their local Sainsburys to purchase a whole manner of treats. The girls did so well they managed to put together two hampers, which are now being wrapped and Christmas cards written, ready to be delivered. Miss Carr, a Science teacher at the college, said: "We are very proud of the girl's achievements and that they have thought of others at this festive time."
