This is Bristol -- POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 10 year old girl was grabbed by a man in Worle. The girl was walking along the High Street, near the junction with Annadale Avenue, at around 3pm on November 11 when she was approached by a man. The man spoke to her then took hold of her wrist but she managed to pull away and walked off. Investigating officer DS Phillip Clarke, of Weston-super-Mare CID, said: "At the moment it is not clear whether a criminal offence has been committed so we are keen to identify this man and obtain his version of what happened. "The girl was on her way home from school at the time. She was unharmed but went home and told her parents what happened. "We are working closely with the school which has been fully assisting our investigation. "If anyone was in the Worle High Street area around the time of the incident and thinks they may have seen something which could help our inquiry, then please come forward and speak to us." Anyone with information should call DS Clarke on 101. Reported by This is 3 days ago.
