DNA matches linked a man and a 15-year-old girl he was said to have abducted and sexually touched.

Forensic scientist Kim Edwards told a jury she analysed a condom found at a flat in Hackney, London, where Fabian Henry and the teenager were found by police.

Miss Edwards told Bristol Crown Court yesterday that she found traces of both the girl's DNA and 30-year-old Henry's on the contraceptive.

Father-of-three Henry denies abducting a girl under 16 and sexual activity with a child.

A jury at Bristol Crown Court has heard the girl sent text messages to her father saying she had been "kidnapped". The girl's father told the jury that when she disappeared he received texts from her phone which read: "Help" and "He took me".

Further messages claimed the girl was tied up in the back of a car.

The jury heard a recording of a phone call Henry made from Wormwood Scrubs prison, in which the Crown says Henry's brother Garfield put him through to the girl on another phone. Henry said he missed her, asked for money and said he loved her – and the youngster told him she missed him and loved him.

The case continues. Reported by This is 12 hours ago.
