A man who raped and used his step-daughter as a "sexual plaything" has been jailed for 13 years.
The 50-year-old from south Leicestershire, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had sex with the youngster after plying her with vodka and showing her pornography.
He pleaded guilty to three sex assaults and two rapes when the girl was aged 11 to 13.
He also admitted four charges involving sexual activity with a child relating to incidents involving two of her friends and one of trying to pervert the course of justice.
The offences relate to the period between August 2010 and December 2012.
Judge Michael Pert QC, sitting at Leicester Crown Court, said the man was guilty of "disgraceful conduct".
The judge said: "This girl regarded you and addressed you as her father.
"That is a sacred trust which you abused in the most appalling way to groom that child to use as a sexual plaything."
Prosecutor Gareth Weetman said the man subjected his step-daughter to systematic sexual abuse for more than two years. He had sex with her hundreds of times.
When police examined the man's mobile phone they found an entry in August 2010 stating "virginity lost".
Mr Weetman said: "We believe this relates to him having sex with her for the first time."
She was crying and asked him to stop.
The stepfather would ply the girl with vodka and red bull and show her pornography.
He bought her lingerie from Ann Summers.
Mr Weetman said the girl tried to refuse to have sex with him but he would get upset and that upset her.
He said: "He would tell her that he loved her.
"She made herself do it and would force herself to smile for fear of what would happen if she did not."
The charge of perverting the course of justice related to him asking his step-daughter, after he had been arrested, to tell the police the lingerie belonged to his girlfriend.
Mr Weetman told the court the man touched two of her friends on separate occasions when they were at his house for a sleepover.
On both occasions, the man persuaded the girls to sleep in the same bed as him before he pounced.
Carl Gaskell, mitigating, said his client was deeply sorry.
He said: "He knows it was wrong. He knows it should have never happened.
"He is mindful of the effect it must have had on his victim."
Judge Pert made him the subject of an indefinite sexual offences prevention order barring him from having contact with any female under 16 and from living with any female under the age of 18.
He was placed on the sex offender register for life. Reported by This is 2 days ago.
